Spiritual relation is the criss-cross relation between persons. It's love. It is spending one's self on another and receiving in return the spiritualizing and uplifting effects of so-doing.（精神上的關(guān)系是人與人之間的參互交錯(cuò)的關(guān)系。就是愛(ài)。就是把自己消費(fèi)在一個(gè)別人的身上，而在如此做時(shí)，自己也得著鼓舞向上的影響作酬報(bào)。）

Moral oblization is not the externally imposed command；it is the necessity to act so as to bring out the best in the other person.（the beloved one，for example）（道德的責(zé)任并不是那外來(lái)的命令；只是必須要怎樣做才可以引出別人——例如所愛(ài)之人——的最好部分。）

You can only keep yourself alive and uplight by taking an interest in some other or alter．（只有對(duì)于別人發(fā)生興趣才可使自己常是活潑潑地，常是堂堂地。）
